- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience developing web applications using Liferay Portal.
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and related front-end technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Liferay development tools (Liferay IDE, Maven, Blade CLI, etc.).
- Knowledge of Liferay architecture, APIs, and frameworks.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders
- Willing relocate to Malaysia
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing Liferay-based solutions according to project requirements.
- Customizing Liferay Portal and its components (themes, layouts, portlets, hooks, extensions, etc.).
- Integrating Liferay with other systems and applications as needed.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Troubleshooting and debugging applications to optimize performance.
- Conducting unit testing and code reviews to ensure quality deliverables.
- Documenting technical specifications and system architecture.
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
