Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship and knowledge sharing to peers.
- Write code that is reusable, scalable and testable. Make sure products are delivered on time and with high quality.
- Analyze and optimize performance and reliability of the Android app.
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Minimum 3 – 4 years experience minimum is a must in Android Development
- The candidate must be fluent in both spoken and written English
- Have published at least one original Android App in Google Play Store
- Experience in Android app development especially using Kotlin
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
- Knowledge of version control systems like Git for collaborative development.
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Experience with CI processes for mobile applications for Android
Prefered Qualifications
- Knowledge for ReactNative/Flutter will be an advantage
- Proficiency in German will be considered an advantage
- Strong problem-solving skill and detail-oriented mindset
