Job Description:
As a Machine Learning Engineer at GRIT, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning models that enhance our biometric technologies. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to implement and optimize algorithms that process and analyze large datasets, ensuring high accuracy and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement machine learning models for biometric applications.
- Collaborate with data scientists to preprocess data and select appropriate algorithms.
- Train, test, and validate models to ensure they meet performance requirements.
- Optimize and fine-tune models for real-time processing and scalability.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and AI, and apply them to improve our systems.
- Document model development and performance metrics for future reference and improvements.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in machine learning model development and deployment.
- Experience in biometric technology or related fields is a strong plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of deep learning, neural networks, and statistical modeling.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
