Responsibilities:
• Building efficient, reusable, well-designed and high-quality front-end systems using React.JS(but also other technology) and Material UI
• In charge of coding, code maintenance, and testing
• Responsible for researching the latest programming techniques and web technologies
• Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents
• Developing test plans and cases, as well as, the technical and functional documentations according to the adopted methodologies
• Working closely with team members, designers, overseas developers and vendors to meet business requirements
• Communicate with the manager and team members on issues and in providing solutions
• Assisting the team in achieving the project goals and meeting the project schedule
• Any other tasks which may be called upon or assigned
Technical Abilities:
• 1-2 years of technical hands-on experience in frontend development using ReactJS/Vue/Material UI and/or other popular frameworks.
• Having knowledge and experience in HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript. Good understanding of browser compatibility and able to debug compatibility issues with mobile devices.
• Experience with JSON, and Restful API integration.
• Familiarity with HTTP, HTTPS, WebSocket etc.
• Having a good sense of user experience and user interface design.
• Experience with continuous integration and integrating APIs.
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields, or equivalent experience
• Experience with writing unit and integration tests, monitoring code coverage etc.
• Experience delivering a high-quality product as an individual (or open-source) contributor as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Must be willing to work with an internationally distributed team
• Excellent understanding of modern front-end application development by agile team
• Great plus if you have experience in securities, stocks and/or the financial tech industry.
