Role Description:
The Local Data Administrator/Stewards is mainly responsible for reviewing and approving master data requests in accordance with data standards and policies. He/she is responsible for accuracy and completeness of data that is entered, ensures the data is understood, used, and shared effectively.
Main tasks/ Responsibilities
- Checks data creation/maintenance requests for local data against standards
- Coordinates workflow requests and monitors progression.
- Create awareness amongst data producers on data standards.
- Ensures consistency and quality of Master Data.
- Raise concerns about data quality, data governance and related issues as necessary to local data stewards.
- Assist in initiatives to improve data quality, e.g. data cleansing activities.
- Maintain and safeguard documentation on procedures and work procedures.
- Solve data issues
- Review metrics and initiate actions to improve quality.
- Implement and maintain Data Standards and processes.
- Implement Data Quality and Data Governance metrics.
- Conducting root cause analysis for data related issues.
- Conducting impact analysis.
- Conduct yearly Data Quality Assessment.
- Maintain and safeguard documentation on procedures and standards.
- Advocate for effective application and usage of Master Data.
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Actively champions data management projects and initiatives.

Education & experience
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Experience with data management and SAP ERP.
- Experience with SAP MDM is a plus.
- Experience with data manipulation on large data files.
- Computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written) is a must
- Highly Proficient in MS office.
- Deep Business Domain (Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance) knowledge is a plus
- Background in FMCG Industry is a plus.
