Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer our Windows Active Directory environment, including user management, group policies (GPO), domain controllers, and security principles.
- Plan and execute the migration of Active Directory to newer versions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- lmplement and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies using Veeam Backup & Replication or similar tools.
- Monitor backup processes, perform regular testing of backups, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Administer VMware vCenter and virtualization infrastructure, including deployment, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of virtualized environments.
- Manage and optimize cloud operations on platforms like AWS and AliCloud, including provisioning, monitoring, and cost optimization.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards in all aspects of system administration.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning to ensure optimal system performance and scalability.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in system administration, virtualization, and cloud computing.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role, with a focus on Windows AD administration and migration.
- Strong knowledge of backup strategies, particularly using Veeam Backup & Replication or similar tools.
- Proficiency in VMware vSphere and vCenter operations, including virtual machine management and troubleshooting.
- Experience in managing cloud environments, particularly on AWS or AliCloud, with knowledge of cloud services, deployment models, and security practices.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and end-users.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
