Senior Electrical Engineer

Requirements:

1. Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
2. Good English skills (spoken and written).
3. Minimum 10 Years of working experience in the related field is required for this position (as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer for mission-critical buildings such as DATA CENTER, SERVER ROOM, etc).
4. Good understanding of technical drawing related to construction & electrical is required with CAD (Computer-Aided Design).
5. Diploma Degree with more than 5 years of experience is welcome to apply.
6. Good communication & negotiation skills.
7. Proficient in Ms. Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
8. People with high integrity & strong drive for results are required for this role.
9. Strong monitoring process and follow-up.
10. Willing to be placed at the project site.

Responsibilities:

1. Mastering knowledge of electrical and accustomed to reading and understanding the project requirements (e.g., RFP, DED Drawings).
2. Responsible for developing Method Statement for electrical works.
3. Have good knowledge for electrical system & installation.
4. Have good knowledge and experience in conducting tests and commissioning within the electrical scope.
5. Have good knowledge & experience in Quality Control aspect.
6. Responsible for leading field execution of a construction project in Electrical scope.
7. Responsible for developing and monitoring project execution schedules.
8. Responsible for leading daily/weekly/monthly coordination meetings with vendors.
9. Responsible for reviewing vendor submissions for equipment selection & shop drawings prior to approval from the Project Manager.
10. Coordinate with other parties if necessary (e.g., Coordinate with the internal team, Sub-Contractor/Vendor, customer & other stakeholders for interconnection activities).
11. Responsible for creating planning & budgeting for the project.
12. Accountable for providing project reporting as per requirements.
13. Ensure to collaborate with HSE Officer – Project Deliver his/her task and give support if necessary.
14. Maintain records of project documents from start to end of construction.
15. Ensure the job is carried out within budget and schedule.
16. Purchase necessary materials as required.
17. Conduct Technical Presentations to the client.
