Role Summary:
As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and installing electrical equipment, components, and systems. You will ensure that electrical systems meet safety standards and project requirements while optimizing performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
A. Design and Development
- Develop electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts for various projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations of electrical systems
- Create detailed engineering specifications and technical drawings
B. Project Management
- Manage electrical engineering projects from concept to completion
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
C. Testing and Analysis
- Conduct tests and simulations to validate the performance and safety of electrical systems
- Analyze test results and make necessary adjustments to designs and systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical components and systems
D. Installation
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment
E. Compliance and Safety
- Ensure that all electrical systems and installations comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks associated with electrical work
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance
F. Documentation and Reporting
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for electrical designs, specifications, and projects
- Generate technical reports, project updates, and performance analyses for management and clients
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and changes
G. Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with advancements in electrical engineering technology and industry trends
- Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in electrical systems and processes
- Implement best practices and industry standards in all engineering activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a similar role
- Having experience in high-rise buildings and hotel
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and design principles
- Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations
