Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role
- Familiarity with accounting software (ie. SAP, Quickbooks, Odoo or similar)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Tasks & responsibilities
- Maintain accurate & up-to-date records of financial transactions
- Prepare journal entries, invoices, and other financial documents
- Reconcile accounts, including bank statements and general ledget accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist in preparing monthly, quaterly and annual financial reports
- Support in the preparation and submission of tax fillings, ensuring compliance with all the regulatory requirements
- Monitor and process accounts payables and receivables
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Work closely with other departments to track and manage expenses
- Assist with audits by providing required documentation and resolving any discrepancies
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by Finance & Accounting Manager
