Business Analyst (Data Management) will be responsible for developing and implementing frameworks, policies, and procedures (data-related). This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data-related strategies, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with data stewards, IT, and business units to ensure data quality and compliance
- Conduct data quality assessments and audits
- Provide training and support to staff on best practices (data governance)
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDP)
- Identify and mitigate data-related risks
- Maintain documentation of processes and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in data management or a related role
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices
- Familiarity with data protection regulations (e.g., PDP, GDPR, CCPA)
- Good English communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) is a plus
