Responsibilities :
- Design and execution of a strategy to increase Maccaferri’s market share in double twist and steel fiber sector.
- Develop strong industry relationships and visibility with current and prospective clients, consultants, partners.
- Identification and conversion of of major/strategic/transformational projects coming on line in the next one to three-year horizon.
- Understand procurement, market trends and business outlook within sector.
- Leads the development and submission of proposals for large or complex, high-risk projects, which may involve convincing internal and external stakeholders who at times may be unwilling or skeptical to accept proposals or plans.
- Develop specifications of Maccaferri solutions within contract documentation, thereby optimizing the company’s opportunity to supply the project.
- Leading and managing client facing activities, build positive relationship that yield annual growth and revenue targets.
- Collaborating with senior management, colleagues, and project partners to facilitate creating new or innovative solutions for clients.
- Contributing to Maccaferri’s short and long-term profitability through strategic or major project wins.
- Improving opportunity conversion rates.
- Protect and maintain the Company’s Commercial interests in offering solutions to the market
- Generate and present technical presentations and seminars at the Department of Transportation, Department of Public Works and Highways, Philippine Reclamation Authority, Philippine Ports Authority, National Irrigation
- Administration and other key institutions handling Infrastructure Projects
Qualifications :
- Degree qualification in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Planning, or a related discipline. Candidates with a background in Engineering or a technical discipline will be well regarded.
- Strong reputation in the infrastructure sector and prior experience in similar capacity is a must.
- Prior experience operating at a Technical Director/Principal level.
- Strong network of high-level relationships in the government institutions like DPWH and DOTR, international engineering consultants e.g. ARUP, Oriental Consult, Nippon Koei etc and other key stakeholders.
- Experience in business development activities leading to positive and tangible outcomes.
- A strong track record of winning and delivering on major infrastructure projects
- At least 5 years of business development/sales experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in construction related industries.
- Experience with DPWH and government projects is desirable, but not required.
- Demonstrated experience in contracting, consulting or client-side experience within the infrastructure industry.
