COORDINATOR ELECTRICAL DOWNSTREAM – FIXED PLANT
Some of your duties will include:
- Directly supervise process maintenance electrical and instrumentation Downstream equipment;
- Schedule work orders, preventive maintenance, equipment, employee vacations, employee training and employee shifts to achieve desired throughput and availability;
- Direct and enforce departmental procedures/policies, administer discipline, enforcing company policies, enforcing applicable safety and environmental laws and regulations.
- Conduct safety meetings, staff meetings, planned task observations and safety inspections.
- Regularly Facilitates and /or attends Safety toolbox meeting
- Carry out pre-shift, pre-use & general inspections at required intervals also Conduct regular on the job task observations, provide feedback.
- STP reviewed for all tasks before commencing work
- Competence and understanding of logical troubleshooting techniques also Participation in group problem solving initiatives (ie RCFA).
- Ensure that All Crew Members Understand and Follow Standard Task Procedure
- Ensure that work is completed in a timely fashion to satisfactory Standard
- Daily targets are derived from weekly targets which are, in turn derived from monthly targets
- System in place for periodic review of W/O’s, equipment history and costs to identify opportunities for improvement
- Maintain clear & concise position descriptions, communicate responsibility and accountability of role
- Carry out audits and inspections in compliance with Environmental tracker
- Maintain all material storage areas to comply with company environmental policies
- Effective use of new technology to solve old problems
- Supervises the maintenance and correct use of tools and equipment such as diagnostic and calibration equipment
- Supervises in interpreting and using blueprints, specifications, vendor data, process flow sheets, drawings and schematic diagrams
- Supervises in installing instrument components, lay-outs of job and fabricating cable tray supports
- Supervises in performing calibration of process instrumentation and in modifying control loops,
- Removes/replaces instruments, adds and deletes systems. Supervises in performing maintenance and calibration of electrical and mechanical transducers
- Supervises the installation of pneumatic instruments and lines of air bellows for balancing purposes and hydraulic lines
What skills and experience do you need?
- Engineering qualification at Trade, Diploma or Degree level in a Electrical field or equivalent industry with 8 years’ experience with electrical or instrumentation maintenance of large machinery and piping in a milling/ processing environment are necessary.
- Has minimum 5 years’ experience working in similar role as Coordinator/ Senior Supervisor Electrical Downstream or other field process operations electrical maintenance/ fixed plant project management will be added value;
- Experience with large variable speed motors and controls are preferred, High Voltage Low Voltage, Large Motor, control System, UPS, etc.
- Experience with Instrumentation calibration, fabricating, repairing, installing, and maintaining electronic circuits, equipment (including computers), design, hydraulic & pneumatic etc.
- Experience with large grinding mills controlled by discrete digital controls systems is essential.
- Has Frontline level operational inspector certificate (POP) or qualifications certificate recognized by KaIT (Chief Mines Inspector) in accordance with level of position.
- Strong leadership and organizational, scheduling & time management skills; Ability to work both independently and as a team player and thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment; Ability to communicate well, and work productively with internal and external individuals; A commitment to safety and a desire to maintain our Indonesian mining operations to world class international safety standards;
- Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written and computer literate.
