What You Will Do
- Brainstorm and discuss with Product Managers and Engineers to build new features, architectures, etc.
- Develop web applications by using PHP and Laravel, which includes both backend and web frontend implementation.
- Maintain and improve existing products (mainly PHP and Vue).
- Integrate and develop RESTful API technologies to enable seamless communication between the website and external systems.
- Conduct regular testing and debugging to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
- (Optional) maintain and improve wordpress, woocommerce, and shopify.
Required Requirements
Technical Skill
- 3+ years of web application development experience, including both backend and web frontend
- 2+ years of building software development with PHP.
- Experience developing web products using Laravel or equivalent framework.
- Experience developing products using No-SQL and RDB or equivalent understanding.
Soft Skill
- Business level proficiency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized person.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Be able to weigh several and often conflicting constraints and make decisions in a fast-moving and quickly-growing company.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the website’s functionality and user experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferable Requirements
- Experience developing on AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud systems or equivalent understanding.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress and website builders like Bricks and Elementor.
- Experience deploying websites live and managing hosting environments.
- Experience with Unit Test
- Experience with frontend framework (React or Vue)
Working environment and Salary
- Full Time Employment based on Remote Work System (work from your home country)
- Working Hours: 9 hours a day (8 hours work, 1-hour break)
- Flexible working hours(based on Japanese time)
- Day Offs – 8 days per month
- Company information and updates by using Slack and Google Sheet
Important Notes:
- Please do mind that this is a Full-time Job Position & Working Remotely
- We don’t cover government contributions. So voluntary, you’ll pay in your home country.
- Salary payout is on next month’s 25th. If it’s a holiday, it will be the business day before the 25th. Cutoff is the last day of each month.
- For example, if December 16 is your start date, on December 25, you will NOT receive your salary yet. First salary will be January 25, for your work rendered from December 16-31.
