Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and security analyses to identify vulnerabilities in systems.
- Monitor network traffic to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Install and configure security devices such as firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- Respond to security incidents, including investigation, mitigation, and recovery from attacks.
- Conduct penetration testing and security audits to evaluate system robustness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in IT Security.
- Deep understanding of network security protocols such as VPN, firewall, IDS/IPS, and SIEM.
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience in designing risk mitigation strategies.
- Cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CISM, or similar) are a plus and highly advantageous.
