We are looking for motivated and skilled candidate for the Position of Mechanical Supervisor. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Supervisor shall be as follows:
- Managing all aspects of construction and reporting into the Construction Manager
- Keeping the project adequately resourced with plant and materials,
- Self-performing certain elements of works,
- Monitoring and controlling all aspects of H&S,
- Controlling and managing specialist sub-contractors,
- Keeping accurate records of production,
- Providing reports (daily, weekly and monthly) on works completed, etc.
- Take part in risk workshops and report any risks associated with installations Construction Manager.
- Review Contractor’s installation method statements.
- Review Contractor’s shop drawings against the design drawings for compliance with the design intent and return to Construction Manager with appropriate comments / approval within the specified contractual period.
- Review Contractor’s proposed sub contractor(s) associated with the engineering works from a technical standpoint.
- Undertake general project site observation / inspection of the works for Contractor’s adherence to the approved shop drawings and Consultant’s specification, good working practices and construction schedule.
- Be available to undertake off-site inspections of proposed equipment and materials as may be deemed necessary by the Construction Manager.
- Undertake prior review of Contractor’s proposed method statement and schedule.
- Witness testing that may be required during the construction and advise the Construction Manager accordingly.
- Review and comment on Contractor’s testing and commissioning results and advise the Construction Manager accordingly
- Maintain on-going list of defects for contractor’s remedial action.
- Attend project, site progress and any related technical meetings as directed by the Construction Manager.
- Review and approve Contractor’s ‘as built’ drawings.

- Building Construction Experience for min. 5 Years
- Data Center Building Design & Construction for Min. 2 Years
- Experience of HVAC Design and Installation
- Professional English Proficiency is mandatory
- Adhesion to the Ellipse Projects’ code of conduct
