Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development in a laboratory to meet customer needs
- Develops new or improved dispersions, including formulation, stability/durability testing, and pigment selection for Matapel pigment pastes
- Understand the market requirement and develop new pigment pastes products to enhance its competitiveness in the market
- Plans and carries out research to support the design and development of new products and new processes used in the manufacture of pigment preparations
- Support business revenue growth through product innovation which includes literature surveys, industry engagement, and experimentation in the lab (Deliver new products for successful growth of Matapel pigment pastes market
- Provides technical support, data and information for specific projects by conducting experiments or tests to generate data
- Create product specifications for samples that are in development
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Chemistery or Chemical engineering
- Proven experience as Chemist or R&D in chemicals industry (Pigment, Paint industry is an advantage)
- Skill in color matching is a must
- Experience in using DataColor Spectrophotometer
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Willing to work in 2 shifts
- Placement: Factory, Kawasan Industri Daan Mogot
