Who We’re Looking For
We are in search of a proactive and highly skilled Senior WordPress Developer who can blend extensive technical expertise with a keen ability to work within a team. The ideal candidate will have a deep background in WordPress development, be passionate about creating innovative solutions, and possess the ability to guide projects to successful completion. This role is remote or work-from-home and would ideally suit someone looking to work 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday.
You should have excellent people skills, a sharp attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.
You’ll report directly to the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
Your job will include using your past experience to:
- Lead and mentor the development team in building custom WordPress websites that align with the supplied scope and design.
- Develop advanced WordPress themes and plugins ensuring optimum performance and security.
- Enhance and streamline development procedures to continually improve our web development offerings.
- Serve as a liaison between the development team and clients, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding.
Experience
Experience in a senior development role is crucial, along with your core competencies:
- Advanced Technical Proficiency: Comprehensive understanding of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and database structures.
- Expert Coding Skills: Proficiency in PHP, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
- Strategic and Innovative Thinking: Ability to propose, implement, and oversee new ideas or tools that enhance both client and team experiences.
- Effective Communication Skills: Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with clients and team members to understand their needs and provide solutions.
- Advanced Technical Troubleshooting: Skills to diagnose and resolve high-level website issues reported by clients and team members.
