Job Purpose/Job Summary/Job Objective
The Software Business Analyst is a pivotal role within our software development process, primarily focusing on the elicitation and documentation of requirements. We are seeking an analytical team player who will excel in understanding customer needs and translating them into actionable user stories. The ideal candidate will facilitate effective communication between stakeholders and development teams to ensure the successful delivery of sprint goals.
Responsibilities and Duties*
- Perform thorough requirements analysis to identify customer needs and objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize requirements.
- Translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate communication and understanding between development teams and stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning meetings to ensure alignment between business objectives and development priorities.
- Conduct regular reviews of user stories and provide feedback to ensure quality and completeness.
- Support testing efforts by validating user stories against requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve the software development process through feedback and process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Have good English skills both written and oral
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in software development projects.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and best practices.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work within established deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team environment.
Work location
TDS Indonesia development center in Bali. Working remotely may be available. Attractive relocation package will be provided for successful candidate recruited outside Bali.
