Automation Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for various processes, including but not limited to manufacturing, testing, and data analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for software applications and systems.
• Configure and integrate automation tools and systems to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation systems and processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for automation projects.
• Document design specifications, procedures, and user manuals for automation systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users on automation systems and processes.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to automation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Job Requirements & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree /Diploma in Mechatronics
• Proven experience in automation engineering or a related field.
• Strong programming skills, with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience with automation tools and technologies, such as PLCs, SCADA systems, robotic process automation (RPA), and industrial IoT.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Certification in automation or related technologies is a plus.
