Data Scientist

JOB DESCRIPTION :

1. Designs, develops, and implements generative AI models using state-of-the-art techniques.
2. Develops, analyzes, and models operational, economic, management, and accounting data to quantify the competitive performance of business segments, evaluate potential operational changes, and design new approaches and methodologies.
3. Accommodates business units’ needs to define problems, collects data, applies advanced economic and mathematical concepts (if needed) to establish facts and draws valid conclusions.
4. Recommends solutions to new and complex problems, develops innovative strategies, quantifies the competitive performance of the organization’s operations and/or markets, evaluates the potential impact of changes, and reports on economic forecasts that affect the industry.
5. Support business units to build reports for management on the overall performance of business segments and develops metrics to measure various characteristics of the business.
6. Analyses historical performance and market information using business software packages and statistical software tools, and develops models to predict future outcomes.
7. Building synergy with business users (cross-functional teams) through developing and implementing cutting-edge generative models and algorithms, which can turn data into valuable insights that the company needs in order to grow and compete

JOB QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree (S1), Minimum 1 year of experience in the same role as Data Scientist.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience.
• Solid understanding of deep learning concepts, neural networks, and generative model architectures.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, and proficiency with popular machine learning
• libraries/frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Fluency in SQL database and analytics tools i.e. SAS/R/Python/Spark.
• Outstanding skills in the use of Ms Excel, PowerPoint and Ms Project.
• Experience with building statistical, mathematical and predictive models with appropriate tools to find the right
• answers to complex business questions.
• Experienced in end-user analytical and visualization tools, e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Spotfire, Power BI.
• Experienced in cost/benefit analysis and business case development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Life Insurance products and business processes is a plus.
