Responsibilities:
Data Governance Support: Assist in implementing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data integrity, quality, and security.
Data Quality Assessment: Conduct data quality assessments and assist in implementing data cleansing and enrichment processes to improve data accuracy and reliability.
Data Documentation and Metadata Management: Assist in documenting data sources, data dictionaries, and metadata repositories to facilitate data understanding and access.
Data Integration Assistance: Support data integration initiatives by assisting in designing and implementing data integration solutions, ETL processes, and data warehousing strategies.
Data Security and Privacy Compliance: Assist in implementing data security and privacy controls, including access controls, encryption, and data masking, to protect sensitive data assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand data requirements, provide data management support, and promote data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in data management, and actively participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with senior members of the data management team to support departmental initiatives, contribute to team projects, and share ideas for process improvement and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience (2 years) in data management, data governance, or related roles, with a focus on data quality, integration, and security.
- Proficiency in Cloudera (Impala or Hue) SQL, Macro/VBA, Python.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the field of data management.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
- Having knowledge in Banking or willing to work in Banking.
