As a Legal Assistant, you’ll need to be able to provide legal analysis and advice, drafting and reviewing legal documents as well as understand the products and negotiate with counterparts.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, finalize and/or negotiate legal documents (agreements, amendments/addendums, etc.) ensuring that the agreements align with the company’s goals and protect the interests of the company
- Provide legal guidance and support to various departments within the company and proactively identify legal issues and risks associated with business decisions and propose effective solutions to mitigate them
- Assisting the business units on any legal operations and contract matters, including but not limited to assisting contract negotiations with the merchants/ partners
- Handling day-to-day legal operations
- Understand and grasp the products
- Providing legal advice and assessment on legal and products matters
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a reputable University
- At least 3 years working experience as an in-house legal or associate at a law firm, with a real estate/manufacturing background
- Experienced in a range of contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Having a good personality, effective problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skill
- Fluency in business-level English both written and spoken
- Eager to learn and have strong knowledge of corporate law and commercial agreements
- Capable of working as a team player
- Able to adapt to different situations and scope of work (Agile)
