Requirements:
- Minimum D3/S1 in any major, preferably Transportation Management.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years in similiar position.
- Fluent in English both oral and written.
- Required Knowledge and Skill(s): supply chain management, shipping, logistics, custom/export-import, computer literate
- Have achievement orientation, customer service orientation, continuous improvement, interpersonal relationship, able to work in group/team as well as quickly adapt to the relatively fast dynamics of work, analyze issue and use sound judgement, planning organizing, orientation to detail, concern for order, work efficiently, interpersonal persuasiveness ability, coordination
- Understand the work situation in the shipping industry that demands 24/7 availability
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring delivery process of purchased material from supplier to vessel run smoothly and are on time
- Ensuring necessary documents related to delivery of goods are completed & well managed
- Ensuring Forwarder list is updated
- Utilizing ‘Tracking Order List’ in controlling status of material delivery
- Monitoring logistic & material position during delivery
- Monitor ships position and activity day to day
- Manage logistic activities information in Forwarder warehouses and shipment on the way to vessels on day- to- day
- Seeking and receiving information of material delivery readiness from purchaser/supplier
- Check, prioritize and route orders
- Coordinating with forwarder, procurement support, agent, operation, superintendent and vessel to arrange material delivery
- Prepare and manage all document related with export & import
- Arranging material delivery considering the price, delivery time, and needs priority of the material
- Distributing information to Technic regarding delivery cost
- Checking the approval authorization completeness in compliance with procedure
- Carrying out the delivery process after received approval from the PIC
- Distributing information regarding material supply plan to vessel, agent, operation, and related department
- Following up to procurement support, supplier, and vessel if vessel receipt notes has not been received yet
- Checking transportation cost with standard tariff in invoice
- Check and manage delivery Note/Received order from vessel
- Manage and update Forwarder Tariff
- Maintaining good relationship with supplier and forwarder, Visiting forwarder and ports
- Coordinate with forwarder to resolve problem on logistics and ensure smooth deliveries
- Assisting Procurement Manager in collecting and analyzing data of logistic
- Prepare logistic reports periodically to Procurement Dept.
- Asking, recording and filing delivery receipt notes
- Updating data of Forwarder list after receiving approval from GBLT General Manager and Procurement Manager
- Updating delivery price list
- Ensuring material needed are delivered from supplier to vessel
