We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Science Manager with a minimum of 6 years of proven expertise in building robust data science models within the financial/telco industry. As a key member of our team, you will lead the development and implementation of advanced data science solutions to drive business growth and optimize decision-making processes.

Description
- Model Development: Lead the development and deployment of sophisticated data science models to address complex business challenges in financial industries, including customer segmentation, risk assessment, and product recommendation systems.
- Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across business units, including actuaries, underwriters, product managers, and marketing teams, to understand their needs and effectively communicate insights derived from data science models.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of data scientists, providing mentorship, guidance, and technical expertise to drive innovation and excellence in model development and implementation.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to define the data science roadmap and strategy aligned with business objectives, ensuring that data-driven insights contribute to overall business success and competitiveness in the bancassurance market.
- Communication and Presentation: Present findings, recommendations, and insights derived from data science models in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to diverse audiences, including executives, business partners, and technical stakeholders.
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in data science, with a focus on the financial/telco industry preferred.
- Proven track record of building and deploying data science models to drive business outcomes, including experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and optimization techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving strategic objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decision-making processes.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, as well as experience with data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Pandas, Matplotlib).
